Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator for a Leading Global Organisation based in the Bridgend area.
The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting warehouse operations by handling deliveries, managing inventory, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. This role requires prior warehouse experience and strong organisational skills to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Checking Deliveries:
* Verify incoming shipments against invoices/orders.
* Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
Stock Organisation:
* Store items in designated areas and label shelves for easy identification.
* Monitor inventory movements within Bridgend and European locations.
* Track and rotate stock, ensuring efficient inventory management.
Order Picking and Packing:
* Accurately pick items based on customer orders.
* Stage and prepare shipments for collection.
Inventory Control:
* Perform regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Update stock movements in warehouse management systems.
* Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Loading and Unloading:
* Load and unload trucks using hand pallet jacks or forklifts (Counterbalance B1 & B2).
Shipping and Dispatching:
* Prepare shipments by verifying addresses and creating shipment documents.
* Coordinate with Logistics Representatives, buyers and delivery carriers.
Warehouse Maintenance:
* Ensure the warehouse remains clean and organised.
* Dispose of packaging materials and maintain safety standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Deputise for the Warehouse Manager during authorised absences.
* Provide out of hours cover, including handling late deliveries/collections.
* Occasionally assist the Export Crating Team with basic crating tasks.
* Perform other warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
* Warehouse experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* Attention to detail: Ability to accurately pick, pack and track inventory with minimal errors.
* Computer proficiency: Experience with warehouse management systems and Windows applications.
* Forklift operation: Certification for Counterbalance B1 & B2 is preferred.
* Organisational skills: Ability to manage stock efficiently and work independently.

* Full time, permanent role with stability.
* £32,500 basic salary (depending on experience).
