Support Worker - Brand New Children's Home in Melksham

As a Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support within one of the UK's leading specialist care providers. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing environment for young people, focusing on therapeutic care and holistic support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day care and support to children with complex needs.
* Work closely with the Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, and other team members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
* Participate in planning and delivering activities that promote growth and development.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
About You:
* Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in health and social care, or equivalent desirable.
* Experience working with children and young adults in a care setting or a desire to do so.
* Understanding of Ofsted standards and regulations is a plus.
* A compassionate and patient approach to supporting young people.
* Must be a driver with a car.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
Work Schedule:
* Hours: 160 hours per month
* Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off
* Additional: Approximately 10 sleep-in sessions per month (paid at £65 per session)
