Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance or Service Engineer looking to work permanent days Mon - Fri? You'll plan your own maintenance schedules to incorporate PPM's, service and repairs on the machinery and equipment at our manufacturing site in Dundee.
BASIC SALARY: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer - Manufacturing, Material Technologies
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll carry out various tasks within the engineering function. You will have a proactive approach with an eye on continuous improvement across the department and be a link between other departments to maintain good lines of communication throughout the entire business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan, prioritise, and complete the PPM schedule for the site.
2. Carry out our reactive tasks including fault finding, breakdowns and repairs.
3. Create and maintain records for proactive and reactive work.
4. Manage the spares stock and budget.
5. Arrange and manage service contracts for machinery and equipment.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You'll be proactive by nature and be able to manage your time to balance your daily and weekly workload. You will either be a qualified engineer or from a time served engineering background.
We are interested in applications from candidates who have:
1. Experience in fault diagnosis and problem solving of both mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.
2. Awareness of continuous improvement methods and principles.
3. Excellent organisation, communication, and reporting skills.
4. Exposure to equipment such as film coating machinery, vacuums, pneumatic valves, compressors, chillers and lifting equipment as a preference.
5. Experience of COSHH, risk assessments and ISO standards.
