They offer services including water & wastewater treatment, including design, fabrication, site installation and testing.DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Fitters Mate, who will work as part of a team of engineers and will be responsible for delivering quality and service in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-2pm based in Kilmaurs.Package:•Workwear provided.•Life Assurance & Health Care Benefits•Up to 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays•Company pension scheme•Progression opportunities which include ongoing training and development.•Hourly rate of £14 - £16 per hour (DOE)•Overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly rateTherefore, your key responsibilities:•Mechanical Assembly and Installation: Engage in the assembly and installation of a diverse range of plant and equipment, primarily within the Water Industry.•Material Experience: Possess experience working with materials such as Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Ductile Iron Pipework.•Component Familiarity: Have knowledge of valves, components, and support systems related to pipeline installation.•Pump and Drive Motor Expertise: Be acquainted with the removal and installation of pumps and drive motors.•Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, perform site repairs, and carry out installations at customer sites.To be eligible for this you will need the following requirements:•Health & Safety Awareness: A thorough understanding of all relevant H&S regulations and safe systems of work.•Qualifications: Recognised practical qualifications or relevant training.•Industry Experience: Experience in the Water Industry and Construction Site Environments.•Mechanical Installations: Knowledge of Mechanical Installations.•Maturity and Practicality: Display maturity and practical engineering skills.•Health and Fitness: Good health and a level of general fitness.•Tools: Possession of relevant and suitable hand tools.•Driving License: A full cleanFor more information, please contact Jean-Claude Hedouin, at Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd on 0333 202 6500 Ext 3937 or jc@ex-mil.co.uk or via the website
