We are looking for a highly organised proactive individual with a strategic perspective. You will have experience in managing a corporate policy function, including the development of complex strategies and effectively reporting on their delivery.
You will be experienced in collaborative partnership working to a senior level, developing relationships and shared goals and have a successful track record in managing and motivating a team.

Key responsibilities
Are you looking for a role where you can shape policy and strategy?
1. Lead on developing and embedding the Council Plan and performance framework, working with senior managers and directly with councillors.
2. Research and develop strategic initiatives with partners.
3. Lead on developing opportunities for strategic collaborative working related to partnerships with the local community and public sector organisations, including the development of a partnership communities strategy.
4. Use an evidence-based approach to identify emerging and future policy issues affecting the council, seizing opportunities to improve quality of life for Bracknell Forest’s residents.
5. Lead and develop the council’s performance management process and information reporting.
