Financial Promotions Administrator
Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 1000 firms as business partners and circa 3000 advisors working alongside us.
PRIMIS offer world class support to our partner firms nationally through a multitude of support services which include our financial crime prevention team located in the PRIMIS HQ on the Birmingham Business Park, Solihull.
We are eager to recruit a Financial Promotions Support Officer / Administrator into our existing Financial Promotions team whom are based out of the Solihull offices (and partly from home).
Role Purpose:
To provide expert support to internal and external stakeholders, providing an initial point of guidance in relation to the full range of financial promotions, with specific focus and specialism in business stationery and social media licencing. Providing administrative support to the Financial Promotions function, playing a vital role in the functions objective of delivering a world-class experience in supporting brokers in achieving their financial promotions objectives in a compliant and effective manner.
Development opportunities and support to be an integral part of the role, including the potential of group sponsorship of regulatory qualifications, in order to develop specialist technical knowledge in our industry sector and support career progression.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Provide assistance and guidance to advisers so that all financial promotions are compliant ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
2. Ensure relevant policies and procedures are updated as necessary where things change.
3. Follow FCA rules and guidelines for financial promotions and adhere to the B2B and B2C approval processes.
4. Lead role in the assessment and approval of AR business stationery.
5. Assist in the management of the social media licencing process, including day to day management of function record keeping and assessment/approval of individual social media licence applications.
6. Oversight of Financial Promotions Outlook in-box to ensure timely acknowledgement of all submissions and assignment distribution of submitted promotions to the Financial Promotions Consultants
7. Maintain Toolbox department registers in order to demonstrate SLAs are met. This will include approval notifications and KPIs which will allow the production of timely management information.
8. Work with colleagues to develop sales and marketing materials that support the delivery of key business objectives.
9. Provide timely and accurate MI and data for your work on a regular basis.
10. Identify risks and opportunities within your workload and highlight to ensure continual development in output and service, as well as risk mitigation within financial promotions.
11. Provide support across the team where required.
12. To undertake any additional adhoc duties, as well as support the wider team when necessary in order to support the business in achieving its overall objectives.
Ideal Experience and Knowledge:
13. General knowledge of FCA regulation including TCF
14. Desire to learn and to grow with the role and regulatory requirements via both on-job training and self study
15. Attention to detail
16. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
17. Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
18. Ability to deal with difficult conversations
19. Excellent organisational skills
20. Good level of English and grammar
21. Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to prepare MI

23. Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
24. Ability to work unsupervised
25. Good project management skills
26. Preference for minimum 1 years’ experience in the financial services sector
27. Experience of high-quality service delivery when dealing with customers
Qualifications
28. Educated to GCSE standard
29. Ability and desire to obtain regulatory qualifications (eg CeMAP)
Location – Birmingham Business Park in Solihull B37 7YT - with a circa 50/50 split between working from Home / Office available
Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 negotiable DOE
Mon – Fri / 9am – 5pm
