Finance Analyst – Product Cost Reporting and Forecasting

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the Product Cost Finance team. Reporting to the CRISP Finance Manager - Product Cost, you will be part of a team of finance analysts. You will partner with multiple stakeholders in the cost arena across the organisation, ensuring timely and accurate updates are made within the CRISP executive reporting tool in line with correct procedures as a key part of forecasting for Original Equipment and Spares Engines for the next 5 year period. You will also continuously review existing processes and recommend and support areas for improvement and support and deliver complete, accurate and timely ad-hoc analysis both for internal use within the Cost Information Team and for the wider cost community.
Product Cost is a key metric for the Civil Aerospace business and the Product Cost Finance team sits at the heart of the cost landscape supporting both the various engine programmes and our Manufacturing Business Units in their product cost journey. By maintaining the CRISP system, you will add value by capturing and managing financial opportunities and hazards directly affecting the unit costs of parts, through the lifecycle of initiatives from an idea for a cost reduction/increase to the contractual conception and realisation of the cost implications.
What you will be doing
In this exciting role, you will:
* Carry out CRISP (RR Finance system) training and instill the value of recording cost reduction/increase initiatives to the wider population of stakeholders that we support, providing adhoc sessions on our tools and the data available to them to assist with managing product cost.
* Manage workload in accordance with the SLA or manage customers’ expectations where this is not feasible to do so, particularly around busy periods such as forecasting.
* Be responsible for adhering to the appropriate controls ensuring the relevant authorisations are obtained and audit trails are logged; and be responsible for ensuring a regular drumbeat of data integrity checks are carried out and maintain a low level of issues within CRISP to ensure we have robust data to support the relevant processes.
* Ensure all process documentation is complete and up to date with any necessary process or governance changes captured accordingly.

* Proactive with a proven ability to deal with a high volume of requests during peak times.
* Strongly numerate and analytical and ability to work with large MS Excel datasets.
