We are looking for a creative, passionate, enthusiastic chef to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production ideally some experience in fish and seafood, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively on a day to day basis with the support of our Management team and be comfortable in a customer facing environment. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests in a fun and energetic work place. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, food safety practices, and cleanliness. Supervise and train kitchen staff, creating a fun team environment. Develop daily specials working very closely with our fish suppliers Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Assist in the planning of Tasting Room events on a monthly basis Work very closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless, fun, vibrant service. Experience Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production, Shellfish and seafood knowledge. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising kitchen staff. A solid understanding of culinary trends and a passion for creating innovative dishes. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.
