The role: This is a new role overseeing the entire life of product development projects, from confirmation of brief through to market launch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Key responsibilities include: Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. Stakeholder Management: Engage with customer and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations. Build strong relationships to facilitate project success. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with NPD, sales, planning, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met without significant disruptions. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all new products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure testing and validation processes are carried out as required. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure that projects are delivered within financial constraints. Report on financial performance and variances. Product Launch: Coordinate product launch activities to ensure a smooth transition from development to delivery. Post launch review: Ensure learnings from projects are captured and used to continually improve the NPD and project delivery process This is a permanent position with hybrid working in the office and from home. Hours will be 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday) from 09:00am to 17:30pm. The requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstratable experience successfully managing multiple projects as well as knowledge of product development processes and regulatory requirements in the industry. Proficiency in project management software and tools is also beneficial. You will also have the following essential skills and attributes: Excellent organisation and time management skills.
