Sales Account Manager
We are a leading national supplier and installer of domestic kitchen appliances to the house building industry. We are based in the Midlands and are looking for a suitable candidate to source and bring in new business whilst maintaining existing customer accounts to the highest standards.
Key Working Relationships
External
Our customer’s commercial and site teams including buyers, quantity surveyors, contract managers, site managers.
Internal
Company directors, sales team, order processing team, customer care team, credit control, installation supervisors and the planning/scheduling team.
Main Duties
1. Sourcing and pursuing new business from national and regional house builders by generating opportunities and leads.
2. Maintaining, retaining and growing existing customers through effective account management.
3. Generating and following up on quotations and any associated administrative tasks.
4. Managing customer expectations.
5. Attending any meetings that may be necessary in the performance of your duties including pre-start meetings.
6. Undertaking any additional tasks as may be reasonably required from time to time.
Key Attributes:
1. Experience and a proven track record of sales (preferably in the house building industry - but not essential).
2. Excellent negotiation skills.
3. Strong minded and firm personality.
4. Organised & self-motivated.
5. Team player.
6. Works well under pressure.
7. Pro-active.
8. Customer focused.
9. Good verbal and written communication skills.
10. Good level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Package
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year basic (depending on experience).
£5200 car allowance.
Performance-based commission paid quarterly.
Earning potential in excess of £55K annually and beyond.
28 days paid holiday.
