The Role:
As an Insight Manager within Holland & Barrett, your key role is to ensure we unlock value through embedding insights into core processes and guiding consumer-led decision making. Your expertise will ensure that insights fuel innovation, enhance customer journeys, and create competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving healthcare and wellness landscape. Leading insights for Wellness Solutions and Services, you will champion data and insight led strategies that optimise user experience, improve engagement, and inform business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand the wellness consumer landscape, including needs and missions, using insights to identify strategic growth opportunities.
* Partner with key stakeholders (typically 'Heads of' and 'Director' level) to proactively identify insight requirements and manage across all aspects of insights generation, including management of primary research, data analysis and consolidation across insights sources, turning these into outstanding stories that land with impact and drive better business outcomes.
* Work with Healthcare and Product Development teams to map and build efficient and engaging customer journeys, providing the insight and UX expertise to optimise, develop in-depth audience segmentation and persona-driven insights.
* Optimise customer experience across wellness solutions and services, identifying and tracking key experience metrics (e.g. NPS, CSAT, retention, and LTV) to measure and improve.
* Use strategic insight to develop and test propositions, build target customer and communications strategies (delivering insight for all stages of comms development, e.g. message tests, pre-tests, performance tracking, post-test).
* Provide insights to drive new product and range development (all aspects of the product development lifecycle including packaging research/innovation testing/launch tracking).
* Provide intelligence on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity, ensuring H&B remains at the forefront of the digital health and wellness sector.
Location: This is a hybrid role located in London (2 days per week) with travel to Nuneaton once a fortnight.
The Person:
* Experience in insights, digital analytics, or strategy roles, ideally within a digital-first or tech-driven organisation.
* Proven insight collection, integration, management and interrogation experience, including a range of primary research methodologies (qual and quant) and using data to produce actionable insight.
* Understanding of customer experience measures, as well as journey mapping and optimisation, with a focus on digital platforms.
* Experience in UX research methodologies, including journey mapping and optimisation, A/B testing, user tests and interviews.
* Strong understanding of first party customer data research and analysis, audience insights and activation, as well as market intelligence (including Similarweb).
* Ability to use digital analytics and behavioral insights to create a compelling story and shape strategic business decisions.
* Understanding of Marketing/Communications and Proposition testing research.
* Skilled in senior stakeholder management, influencing senior leaders, and translating insights into commercial outcomes, with outstanding communication and story-telling skills.
* Ability to relentlessly prioritise their own workstack, understanding where to spend time to create the greatest business impact.
* Proficiency in analytics tools preferred (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or similar).
