Job summary BRADFORD TEACHING HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST CONSULTANT IN UROLOGY We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Consultant colleague to the department of UROLOGY which sits within the Digestive diseases and Surgery Clinical Service Unit (CSU) based at Bradford Royal Infirmary. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work closely with the current Reconstructive and Core Consultants to deliver services at Bradford Royal Infirmary and the new day unit based at nearby St Lukes Hospital. The successful applicant will be a team player who is willing to be flexible and develop skills with other team members. In addition, we are looking for a surgeon who will contribute to audit, participate in and initiate research and who will be actively involved in clinical governance, administration, and other management tasks. Alongside these aspects, the appointee will participate in the training of medical students and junior doctors. The post holder will participate in a 1 in 10 midweek and weekend on-call rota with 24 hour support provided by the 6 middle grades.
