Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to join a leading UK manufacturer of paper hygiene products based in Royton?
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our paper converting site in Royton, Oldham, responsible for managing the Finished Goods and Raw Materials functions.
This is a brand new role, working Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00, with an early finish at 16:00 on Fridays!
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, and stock management
2. Implementing and monitoring KPIs to improve efficiency and performance
3. Managing a team, providing leadership, training, and performance management
4. Maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
5. Conducting inventory management, stock control, and audits for accuracy
6. Coordinating with logistics teams to ensure timely distribution
7. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations
8. Managing equipment maintenance and ensuring machinery is operational
9. Handling staff scheduling and workload management
Candidate Requirements:
1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
2. Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics
3. Ability to analyze and improve warehouse efficiency and KPIs
4. A proactive problem-solving approach
5. Confidence and experience with IT systems, stock management software, and process orientation
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment and prior leadership as a Warehouse Manager.
