As Head of Neurophysiology, you will be working in a fast-paced, busy and exciting environment. You will be fundamental to managing the data to day operations and hold responsibility for the overall performance of the service. The post holder will work in close liaison with our Neurology Consultants, Neurology Specialty Manager and Head of Service for Medicine, and is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure services continue to improve and develop. The successful candidate should be a flexible, highly motivated and proactive individual who is effective in managing both their own workload and that of their team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as well as the ability to influence and motivate at all levels. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required to support you in understanding and delivering against constitutional performance targets. Trains, supervises, assesses and mentors Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) students and trained Physiologists in Diagnostic procedures. Performs, analyses and reviews a range of complex Neurophysiological investigations and produces reports for Clinicians and General Practitioners.
