We are looking for a highly proficient Senior Accounts Assistant to support our client, a reputable provider within the Health & Social Care sector. Main duties include: Ensuring sales/purchase ledger postings are accurate and timely (approx. 40/week) Responsible for aged debtors/creditors and monthly invoiced are raised accurately. Ensuring monthly balance sheets for recoverable expenses from Residents. Assisting with monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciations, etc. Understanding departmental costs incurred and main variances to budget. Responsible for setting up all payments on the online banking system. Responsible for processing cash receipts in Sage system. Reconcile monthly credit card statements with analysis of expenditure. Support the year-end reporting and auditing process. Other ad hoc duties including attending sector specific training (care environment).
