We’re hiring a National Health and Safety Manager to be based in Bedford but with the expectation to travel when needed to all our sites across the UK. This role will pay up to £70,000 but this is dependent on experience.

Purpose of the role
In this pivotal role, you'll lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental function, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety across our national operations. Working collaboratively across multiple sites, you’ll oversee risk management, safety audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll also manage a skilled team and drive strategic safety policies, fostering a safer workplace for everyone.
How you’ll make an impact at Movianto:
By implementing and reviewing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, leading accident investigations, and ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 standards. Championing training, managing vendor compliance, and developing emergency response plans. By having a proactive approach to health and safety, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Regular national travel will be part of the role. This is a role for a strong leader.
What it will take to thrive as a National Health and Safety Manager at Movianto:
* 5+ years of HSE management experience across multiple sites in a regulated environment.
* NEBOSH Degree (Level VI or equivalent) and IOSH membership.
* Proven track record in safety audits, risk assessments, and culture change initiatives.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) certification is desirable.
