Role Overview:
Due to recent growth, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator/Operations Manager (Entry Level) to join their small team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a supportive, purpose-driven environment while gaining hands-on experience in construction estimating, operations management, and client relations, managing projects from start to finish and building and maintaining relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating:
1. Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for various construction projects.
2. Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to assess project requirements.
3. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure cost accuracy.
Operations Management:
1. Assist in planning and coordinating daily project activities.
2. Support project teams in scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
3. Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Client Relationship Building:
1. Develop and nurture strong client relationships by understanding their unique needs and expectations.
2. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns with professionalism and transparency.
Quality Assurance:
1. Support the implementation of quality standards across all projects.
2. Ensure all work aligns with company values and maintains our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with construction software tools (preferred).
5. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to the company’s purpose-driven approach.
