Credit Control Team Lead - Glasgow Centre - Hybrid Working
W&A are bringing to the market a new opening for a Credit Team Leader to join a busy and demanding Credit & AR team.
This role is based in Glasgow central where you will report into the Credit Manager while supporting a team of Credit Controllers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading & supporting the day-to-day Credit Team activities, identifying and pro-actively resolving any operational issues that would prevent the delivery of the team on a day-to-day basis.
The Team Leader requires to be a strong and clear communicator, who can simplify and resolve complex queries or issues within the function, providing coaching to enable Team Members to improve their knowledge within their role and mitigate any single point of failure knowledge gaps.
Key Duties:
1. Working alongside the Credit Control Manager to deliver team strategic targets, coaching and guiding the team on day-to-day operations.
2. Ensure internal processes are adhered to and in line with agreed SLA’s to enable timely cash collection.
3. SME for Data Process and Controls Governance for the team.
4. Develop effective stakeholder relationships across the business to enable prompt resolution of issues impacting cash collection.
5. Co-ordinate and effectively deliver through the team all SLA’s and KPI’s, escalating immediately where any potential non-delivery is identified.
6. Produce reporting of KPIs as delegated by the Manager, providing insight to potential enhancements to improve overall operational reporting.
7. Leading regular 1-2-1’s with team members reviewing objectives and development plans that are set, and liaising with the Team Manager for any areas of concern identified.
