Due to exceptional growth, they are seeking a Technical Conveyancing Auditor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to influence standards, drive compliance, and ensure best practices across their offices and trading styles.
The Role:
Champion Compliance and Quality in Conveyancing
As a Technical Conveyancing Auditor, you will work closely with directors and senior management to support the technical and tactical development of the conveyancing team. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance, inspiring best practices, and ensuring high-quality client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Auditing Excellence: Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits of conveyancing matters, recommending necessary changes to ensure compliance and uphold quality standards.
* Compliance Leadership: Ensure adherence to Service Legal Agreements, AML regulations, SRA guidelines, and CQS Core Practice Management Standards.
* Data Analysis: Analyse audit findings, prepare reports, and provide feedback to senior management, managers, and staff.
* Performance Support: Collaborate with managers to incorporate audit findings into training and performance development plans.
* Regulatory Updates: Keep teams informed of changes in SRA, CQS, ICO, GDPR, and other compliance standards.
* Training and Development: Deliver training and coaching to enhance team compliance and quality standards.
* Best Practice Promotion: Inspire high standards and ensure processes evolve with regulatory guidance.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
* Experience: Qualified Lawyer or substantial experience in conveyancing within a law firm or CLC practice.
* Technical Knowledge: Expertise in compliance, quality assurance, and the conveyancing process.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and produce insightful audit reports.
* People Skills: Proven experience in coaching and guiding teams to enhance performance.
* Organisational Excellence: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
* Proactive Approach: A client-centric mindset with the ability to influence and inspire change.
* Regulatory Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of SRA, CQS, AML, and GDPR requirements.
