We are currently looking to add to our great team. Casual hours typically available from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 3pm. There may be evening and weekend shifts available during event periods.
Our kitchen caters for the public, including breakfast and lunch service, along with buffets for conferences and parties. We also cater for 2 and 3 course dinners throughout the year.
Requirements:
* Previous cooking experience necessary
* Level 3 Food safety
* Take the lead with food preparation tasks and guide the kitchen team
* Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
* Reliable
* Diverse
* Work to catering deadlines
* Able to be a team player and work independently
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Ability to use own initiative
Responsibilities:
* Carry out cooking duties to standards
* Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene
* Ensure the daily and deep cleaning kitchen schedules are adhered to
* To comply with COSHH and Infection Control regulations
* To have knowledge of allergens and cross contamination
* Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained
