Clark Wood are delighted to be partnering with a regional Cambridgeshire accountancy firm who are actively looking to strengthen their Business Tax Team with the addition of a Corporate Tax Manager.
This mixed compliance and advisory role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to contribute to our firm’s success while advancing their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
Advisory Services: Provide expert tax advice to a portfolio of clients, including tax planning, structuring, and strategy development to optimize their tax positions.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, and provide insights on how these changes may impact clients.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for additional services and work closely with the business development team to grow the firm’s client base.
Qualifications and Skills:
ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
Proven experience in corporate tax within a professional services firm.
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
The firm can offer an excellent platform to progress into Senior Management and gain experience with one of Cambridgeshire's strongest tax divisions.
