We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school community in Bromborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator to make a positive impact on students' and their learning journey, starting as soon as possible and continuing on a week-by-week basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 5 students, covering the curriculum and promoting a love for learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities that enhance the educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly in Year 5, is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Your role as a Key Stage 2 (KS2) primary teacher in the age group of your speciality will be varied and at times challenging. But we doubt you'll find a more satisfying career where your main objectives will be to develop the children and prepare them for the next stage.
As a primary school key stage 2 teacher you'll be expected to:
* Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
* Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
* Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
* Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
* Maintain discipline
* Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
* Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
* Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
* Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
* Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
