Sancta Maria Hospital currently have a rare opportunity for a Ward Clerk to join our busy and diverse ward team. Sancta Maria Hospital is the only private hospital in Swansea offering a wide range of procedures carried out by a number of our leading consultants.

This is an exciting time to be a part of the team we have recently opened our brand-new state-of-the-art private hospital situated in the SA1 area of Swansea.
This is a part time post with the successful candidate working 2 x hour shifts pw. Training will be required for the successful candidate
Main duties of the job
To support and provide administrative assistance to the Ward Department alongside offering general support to ward staff when required.
1. Data entry using the local the computer system software- Compucare 8.
2. Answer the telephone courteously and direct enquiries as appropriate.
3. Complete necessary paperwork to support the ward and OPD.
4. Arrange appointments using the required software and Microsoft Outlook.
5. Liaise with other departments and develop strong workplace networks.
6. Undertake the franking and use the Fax machine.
7. Responsible for ensuring all relevant queries are handled efficiently and effectively, liaising with patients, Consultants and other relevant hospital staff.
