The Opportunity:
Fancy working for a world leading electrical and energy company, who are looking to invest tens of thousands of pounds in to your development and training, where there are countless long term opportunities (and 1 of the top 25 companies if the UK to work for)? If so, read on…
So on that basis, we are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer who has strong Switchgear & transformer knowledge. This is working for 1 of the world leading organizations on their field who have their own switchgear technology and can offer solutions that no one else can, so we need a team of engineers in the field installing, maintaining & commissioning it. A company where there is huge potential for your development to continue.
The person:
We are open to the person here – but we do need someone who has been field based and has commissioning experience around switchgear & transformers.
We want someone who wants to use this role as a stepping stone to get familiar with our equipment and client who wants to sue it as a stepping stone in to senior roles in different parts of our multibillion pound business.
The role:
A hugely varied field based role. We manufacture world leading equipment that you will likely see in a range of different sectors (manufacturing, datacentres, rail, healthcare etc.) and we have teams of engineers who install, commission, maintain & repair our switchgear & associated plant.
So you will be managing your own diary around the field to carry out a range of different roles on our equipment. We understand that you will probably need some training on our equipment, which is fine and we want to train and develop our staff to continue their development.
As alluded to, due to the nature of this role this will have some UK travel.
Environment & Culture:
We have placed people in this organisation at all levels and have seen constant improvements and progression to successful candidates. This is something that they are keen to do with yourself if you have the right attitude to develop, continually improve and take their manufacturing to the “next level” across the UK, Europe and the world with real investment coming in to any successful applicant.
It is a culture where they are constantly looking to improve in every way they can to stay at the top of their market, always listening to their staff and taking their ideas on board. It will be a place where you can implement your experience gained over your successful career whist constantly gaining new skills and improving.
