Sapphire Utility Solutions are looking for an experienced Manager in their Traffic Management Commercial division working closely with head of traffic manager and overseeing the two commercial/QS staff About the Role: Due to expansion within our Traffic Management division we are looking for an experienced Commercial management professional from either a QS background of Commercial Finance background. You will join us with previous experience gained from either traffic management or another industry where a high volume of activities are commercial managed and invoiced. You must be able to manage a team and work with the delivery team. You will report to the TM Director Daily. Location: Preston with Travel to other office locations Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: c£60k Core Duties and Responsibilities. Low value large volume works Mixed delivery with a combination of Direct Labour & Suppliers (not really subcontractors) 80% / 20% Revenue Recognition. Supplier Application & Invoice management Cash Reconciliation Cashflow Forecasting Client Engagement / Relationship Management Cost & Value Reviews You must demonstrate that you have worked in a Traffic Management Environment on the Commercial side or other industry where an high volume of activities are commercial managed and invoiced. Enable to manage a small team and work in a collaborative way with Delivery team. Part of small leadership team, reporting into TM Director daily Experience and qualifications require d for the role : Minimum 5 years’ experience commercial role Management of small team Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Qualified to HNC Level Preferred but not essential Strong commercial and financial acumen. Strong desire to maintain client relationships whilst not compromising contractual entitlement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You must have the Ability to time manage and set priorities under tight deadlines. Enthusiastic and energetic approach to people and projects. Forward thinking and keen to develop smarter delivery of work. Commercially and financially aware.
