Olivia, born in 2005, is a vibrant, music-loving young lady with a passion for rock music, chocolate cake, and all things sparkly She enjoys hydrotherapy, trips to the shops, and being pampered especially when it comes to doing her hair. Olivia is full of life and always up for some fun Olivia has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and a visual impairment, which means she requires full-time complex care. She is fed via a gastrostomy PEG, follows a 24-hour postural management plan, and relies on her wheelchair. But more than anything, she loves to know whats happening around her communication is key to her happiness and wellbeing. Your role will be to assist Olivia with every aspect of her daily life, from personal care and therapy to fun activities both in the family home and out in the community. You will be a part of a caring and supportive environment, working in a fully adapted home with accommodation available while on duty. What Youll Need: Experience with complex medical needs, including PEG feeding and suctioning A full drivers license and ability to drive Olivia's automatic wheelchair-adapted vehicle Compassion, patience, and a passion for care Experience working with young adults An interest in therapy Pets : The household includes a friendly dog and some birds (don't worry, theyre in cages).
