We are recruiting a Business Development Assistant, the successful candidate will be totally immersed in the financial services sector and provide support on a wide range of activities. There will be a real chance to get involved in all aspects of business development in line with our ambitious strategy, this may include campaign planning and delivery, organising and running our successful webinar series, leveraging our social media channels or creating a suite of brand-new collateral - there will absolutely be the opportunity to own this role. You will be a valued member of a small core team (based in London and Edinburgh) committed to helping you succeed in this role and will have access to a considered programme of training to help you along the way. Collaboration with Pinsent Masons' wider business development and marketing teams to ensure cross-sector / practice connectivity will also be an important consideration.
Our standard working hours are 9.00am-5.00pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
1. Contribute to the successful implementation of business development and marketing plans through:
2. Proactively identifying and monitoring the progress of potential matters and credentials for internal or external promotion in order to regularly feed into directories, website, internal newsletter
3. Supporting the delivery and promotion of webinars and face-to-face events (which may include working outside of normal working hours)
4. Support the generation of new revenue with the team
5. Preparation of credential statements, case studies and capability statements and to support in the preparation of bids and bid presentation materials
6. Support creation of marketing collateral such as briefs, flyers, internal newsletters and brochures
7. Capture and manage sector credentials on the firm's credentials portal
Qualifications:
Degree qualified or equivalent level experience
