As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering positive behaviour and creating a supportive atmosphere for students. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement strategies, interventions, and support plans to address challenging behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
* Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
* Foster positive relationships with students to encourage social and emotional development.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
* Provide feedback to teachers and parents on behaviour support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous.
* Empathy and a genuine passion for promoting positive behaviour.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
