About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. This involves supervising and motivating a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also be responsible for supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, and reviews. Every interaction with our residents should be guided by respect for their dignity and preferences, while also contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
About You
We are looking for individuals who possess an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. A warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed individual is essential to providing individualized care and support. Our ongoing training opportunities ensure that there are no limits to your career growth with us. Many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.

Work Arrangements
This is a Bank position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to provide cover during periods of annual leave or sick leave. The hours and days you work will vary accordingly.
