SEN-TA - Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist Hours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Term Time Pay: £85-£100 per day Location: Barnet Job Type: Full Time, Long Term About the role: This role is ideal for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working effectively with children with SEN, particularly ASD. You will primarily provide one-on-one support to a Key Stage 1 student with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In addition, you'll occasionally support other SEN students across Key Stage 1, ensuring inclusivity and engagement. This is a long-term role, and the school is looking for someone eager to continue into the next academic year, building lasting relationships and continuity. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver one-on-one support to a child in Key Stage 1 with ASD. • Implement strategies to support the child’s academic and social development. • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt and deliver the curriculum effectively. • Support other students with SEN needs as required. • Maintain records of progress and contribute to planning meetings.
