Your Key Responsibilities
Lead Your Team : Oversee the day-to-day running of your room, supervising and mentoring early years practitioners to ensure a harmonious and positive environment.
Deliver High-Quality Learning : Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework, supporting childrens developmental milestones.
Safeguard & Nurture : Monitor each childs well-being, ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed while creating a secure, inclusive atmosphere.
Collaborate with Parents : Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed of their childrens progress and encouraging involvement in their learning journey.
Maintain Records & Compliance : Monitor and record childrens development, adhering to Ofsted standards and statutory requirements.
Promote Continuous Improvement : Work closely with management to refine educational strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring we consistently deliver top-tier childcare.
What Were Looking For
Early Years Experience : A minimum of 2 years in an Early Years setting, plus a relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher).
Curriculum Knowledge : Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and other statutory guidance.
Strong Leadership Skills : Proven ability to motivate and guide a team, supporting professional growth and team cohesion.
Safeguarding Expertise : Knowledge of child protection, SEN/Inclusion, health and safety, and equal opportunities, with the capacity to uphold and implement best practices.
Excellent Communication : Confidence in liaising with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to champion the best outcomes for children.
