* Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Year 1)

* Start Date: 6th January 2024
* End Date: 28th March 2024 (with potential for extension if needed)
* Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave cover)
About the Role: This role is to cover a TA who is going on maternity leave. The successful candidate will work closely with a Year 1 student, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and socially. Your role will involve:
* Offering 1:1 support to a child with specific learning needs
* Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring the child is engaged
* Supporting the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and routines
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills development
About You:
* Experience working with children, ideally in a 1:1 or support role
* Passionate about helping children reach their full potential
* Patient, compassionate, and proactive
* A great communicator with staff, students, and parents
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with the application if needed)
