What you will do: - Provide expert Social Work services as a lead professional to children and families, including those on the Child Protection Register and looked after children. - Engage and develop strong, effective relationships with children and families, working restoratively to support informed decision-making. - Professionally assess and analyse service user needs, creatively utilising available resources. - Prepare comprehensive multi-agency child's plans for Children's Reporters, child's plan meetings, and court reports. - Maintain accurate, thorough records and input vital data into the Social Work Services database, aligning with Highland Council Policy. - Collaborate with other agencies, contributing to multi-disciplinary assessments, and leading meetings when appropriate. - Engage in regular supervision with a Team Manager or Senior Social Worker, focusing on professional growth and development. - Uphold Health & Safety policies, understanding reporting procedures, and engaging in risk assessments to ensure safety in the workplace.
