An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and confident coordinator to assist the Community Sports Development Service at the UEA Sportspark.
You will assist in the delivery of the Sportspark’s Community Sports Development (CSD) service, participating in the planning, development, marketing, and delivery of onsite and outreach sport and physical activity programmes.
You will work alongside other Sportspark and UEA departments and a wide range of external partners such as Active Norfolk, governing bodies, schools, and charities to enhance the opportunities available for the local community to take part in regular and high-quality sport and physical activity.
We are seeking an individual with relevant experience in delivering and coordinating sport and physical activity programmes, including those with young people. You will be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with a range of partners and have excellent organisation and administration skills.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child and Vulnerable Adult Barred Lists. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or vulnerable adults.
