We are looking for people who can or have the aptitude to learn how to operate production machinery and associated production equipment so as to maximise output and quality throughout a production shift.
This will involve carrying out pre-start up checks on the production line at the beginning of each shift, monitor the line throughout the shift as well as making on-going and routine adjustments to the machines as well as being involved in product change-over’s and overall machine performance.
You will need to have had previous experience of machine operation within manufacturing, particularly in a production environment where output, quality, cost and volume targets are used.
You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to rotational shift working and a successful track record of working under pressure within a manufacturing environment; you will also be looking for an opportunity to further develop your talents and career by moving into this challenging role.
