Job Description
Education Supply Pool are a PAYE Employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short-term and long-term positions on the behalf of schools based in Newport and its surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting.
The candidate MUST have 3 months experience working inside a UK Primary or Secondary school.
Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales.

Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview and I.D check in the office building, we are based in Newport city centre. Directions will be provided closer to date.

The successful candidate:
• Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment with the correct Education and Training
• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
• Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.
