The Company:
Due to recent investment, the company has recently been taken over by a well-known corporation, which has also invested substantially into site improvements, including a £200,000 investment into building brand new control panels and machinery. They are now looking for an experienced maintenance engineer (either bias) who can think on their feet and isn’t shy to face a breakdown and deal with it. Ideally, you will be able to weld (Mig) and have some basic electrical knowledge, i.e., work with 3-phase motors. There is a chance to step up in a couple of years' time to become maintenance manager when the current one retires.

Experience Required for the Maintenance Engineer:
* At least 3 years’ experience repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery as an electrically or mechanically biased maintenance engineer
* Mechanically strong, able to change bearings, straps, belts, chains, and heavy change like-for-like parts, move machinery around, stripping, fabricating, etc.
* Electrical experience is desirable and would command a higher salary
* Experience with Mig welding advantageous
* Background in FMCG/Food/Metals/Recycling/Automation/Foundry/Brick/Aerospace
* Commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Dudley
