Job overview
Would your ideal job be to be the first point of contact for women and birthing individuals coming into our Unit at King's Mill Hospital? Do you enjoy assessing different situations and referring to the correct department or giving advice? Do you have experience of utilising Birmingham Symptom Specific Obstetric Triage System (BSOTS), the maternity triage system, which improves safety and the management of the department?
If so, we are looking for an experienced Midwife to complement our existing team of hospital-based Triage Midwives.
Our Triage department is the first point of call for all women and birthing individuals coming or calling into the unit. We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational midwife to transfer their existing skills and interests to our unit. To thrive in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication skills, a robust knowledge of midwifery practice and enjoy working in a busy environment.
We are passionate about the quality of care we provide, aim to provide the best possible experience for birthing individuals, mothers, babies and their families, and are truly delighted that so many women not only choose to return to us for second and subsequent births, but also recommend us to family and friends.
