Job Requirements
We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor with a strong mechanical or scaffolding background, preferably with experience working in the power industry.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a SHEQ Advisor
* Strong understanding of HSEQ standards and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Valid NEBOSH certificate
* Member of IOSH or similar OHS certified body
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Onboarding new employees and delivering company induction and D&A screening
* Ensuring daily operations comply with HSEQ standards
* Supporting site working practices and developing RAMS
* Providing functional support to Site Management and Operational Team
* Collaborating with onsite HSEQ team and Operations Team
* Identifying training needs and delivering bespoke packages
* Recording actions from HSE management system audits and monitoring progress
* Advising on unwanted event investigation
Additional Information
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. The salary offered is £45,000-£50,000 per annum, plus a £4,500 car allowance.
