We are actively recruiting for a new job opportunity with an established accountancy firm in Milton Keynes, who are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. The salary is negotiable, depending on experience and qualification level.
The job offers hybrid working and can be flexible, available on either full-time or part-time hours, depending on your preference.
Responsibilities:
* Recording financial transactions on a day-to-day basis;
* Reconciling balance sheet ledgers;
* Posting monthly journals (payroll, accruals, prepayments, etc);
* Reviewing debtors and creditors, and investigating differences;
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns through MTD;
* Providing VAT advice to clients;
* Managing a varied portfolio of clients;
* Assisting managers with any ad hoc project work required by clients;
* Producing records up to trial balance;
* Supporting other team members with queries and training.
* Utilising various accounting systems including Xero, Dext, Sage, and IRIS.
