This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a fast-growing business in Manchester, working on cutting-edge innovations in the Energy Generation sector.
In this role, you'll be part of the full project lifecycle, engaging with new and existing customers to deliver advanced engineering solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers to shape bespoke solutions, manage commercial negotiations with landowners, and unlock sales opportunities. There’s also real scope for career progression as the business continues to scale.
To be considered, you’ll need a background in Electrical Generation / Storage or similar sectors. Particularly relevant experience includes: Battery storage, Energy management systems, Gas/Diesel generators, UPS, CHP, etc.
Technical Sales Engineer Key Requirements:
Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Business, or similar
Proven Business Development / Technical Sales experience in Energy / Power Generation
Strong technical knowledge and proposals process experience
Comfortable with regular UK travel
BESS or Energy Storage Systems experience (highly desirable)
Based within a reasonable distance of Manchester (Midlands upwards)
