Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect and Cyber Risk Lead to support large-scale public sector transformation programmes. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing enterprise solutions, delivering complex data migrations, and implementing secure architectures across physical, cloud-based, and hybrid environments. You will also provide strategic cyber risk leadership and ensure compliance with government assurance frameworks, working at the forefront of secure digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage enterprise solutions, including Oracle eBusiness Suite (10.x+), Oracle Siebel Case Management (8.x+), BI Reporting solutions (e.g., Infosphere, BI Publisher), and bespoke developments in frameworks like JSON, NodeJS, Java, and Python.
* Lead large-scale, complex data migrations, ensuring best practices for integration patterns, data modelling, and mapping business processes to technology solutions.
* Design, implement, and maintain physical, cloud-based, and hybrid architectures.
* Expertise in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure as Code, and server platforms (Windows and UNIX/Linux).
* Define and test target architectures and provide governance for solution deliverables, ensuring alignment with Open Architecture principles.
* Work across agile and waterfall delivery models, bridging methodologies as needed to support programme delivery.
* Ensure all designs adhere to robust security architecture principles, standards, policies, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Support large-scale public sector transformation, securely migrating services from legacy systems and on-premises data centres to cloud-based and SaaS environments.
* Deliver against government assurance frameworks, including the Government Digital Strategy, GDS Standards, and the UK Government Technology Code of Practice.
* Act as a Cybersecurity SME, engaging with C-suite stakeholders to address cyber risks and ensure compliance with security obligations.
* Lead the assurance of SaaS product procurement and delivery.
* Deliver assurance frameworks for compliance with GovAssure, Cabinet Office DSHC, Government Standard 007, ISO 27001, CAF, and Secure by Design standards.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing enterprise solutions, data migrations, and working with cloud-based architectures.
* Deep understanding of Oracle solutions, BI reporting tools, and bespoke developments in open-source programming frameworks.
* Demonstrable experience defining and assuring enterprise and technical architectures for transitioning from legacy systems to PaaS/SaaS environments.
* Proven experience in designing architectures adhering to security principles, policies, and requirements.
* At least 5 years of experience as a CISO SME or equivalent, engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
* Strong experience delivering assurance frameworks for cybersecurity compliance.
* Proven capability in large public sector transformation programmes, including working with government assurance frameworks like GDS Standards and UK Government Technology Code of Practice.
* Experience working across agile and waterfall delivery models, with the ability to bridge methodologies.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
