Job Title: Operations Manager – Southern Division
Location: Southern England (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Surrey – inside and outside the M25)
Salary: Circa £100k - £120k (negotiable based on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned contractor based in Berkshire that specializes in delivering commercial and social housing projects across the South of England. Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the contractor’s Southern Division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee projects across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, and Surrey, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
* Lead and manage a team of Contracts Managers, site managers, and on-site personnel.
* Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and excellent communication.
* Manage resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
* Drive the overall strategy and operations for the Southern Division, supporting continued business growth.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Contracts Manager or higher for a main contractor, with a focus on commercial and social housing projects.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire teams and deliver results.
* Proven experience managing multiple projects within the relevant geographical areas.
* Must be based within a commutable distance to the Southern Division’s projects.
