Social Worker – Looked After Children – Central London – Salary up to £48,063

What can you expect from this role?
9. You will complete thorough, child-focused and ongoing assessments which recognise strengths, vulnerabilities as well as attitude to change
10. You will analyse plans regularly to ensure the support provided is making a difference to reduce risk and adjust the plan accordingly
11. You will use the law, regulatory and statutory guidance to inform practice
12. You will build relationships with the child, young person, family or carers to decide the best way to keep them safe
13. You will communicate clearly and sensitively with children and families/carers
14. You will have an understanding and knowledge of child development milestones, and how they can impacted on by trauma
15. You will have a clear and empathic understanding of how the above issues impact on the parent-child relationship
Is this role for you?
16. You will have a HCPC recognised Social Work qualification and an enhanced DBS check
17. You should have a good understanding of relevant legislation, regulation, safeguarding practices and research
18. You must demonstrate evidence of you having built purposeful relationships balancing empathy and authority
19. You will be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication
