Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor
Manage the financial and contractual aspects of groundworks and construction projects across Residential and Commercial sectors.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts, ensuring all projects stay within budget and timelines.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to maintain clear communication and foster strong relationships.
Provide detailed cost reporting and risk analysis to support project decision-making.
Oversee procurement, tendering, and variations, ensuring adherence to company standards and client requirements.
Support the team in delivering projects valued from £1m to £15m across multiple locations. Skills and Experience Required
Experience in groundworks and construction operations, including Plots, Roads & Sewers, Earthworks, and S278 works.
Knowledge of Residential and Commercial sectors.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and financial management.
Proficiency in cost estimation, tendering, and procurement.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. What's on offer?
