About the role
Hours: 37.5 per week – Term Time Only
We are searching for a School Administration Manager to join an exciting Trust working to support and develop an already thriving team.
You will make a difference from the get-go, providing administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team as appropriate. You’ll also further develop the existing (IT-based) management information (SchoolPod/Behaviour Watch) and school assessment (SOLAR 4 Schools) systems.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
– The administration of school business.
– Business and financial management of school resources.
– Managing the school support functions through planning, developing, designing and monitoring support systems and procedures.
– Familiarity with and upholding the policies and procedures of the School and the Trust, especially those relating to Health and Safety, Equalities, GDPR and Safeguarding
– Liaising with other staff, pupils, parents/carers and external agencies.
– Develop and maintain recording and information systems.
– Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children/young people and vulnerable adults you are responsible for, or come into contact with.
Your Skills and Experience:
– Recognised relevant professional qualifications.
– Willingness to undertake further training.
– Substantial experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
– Previous experience working in an office environment (i.e. Finance/HR).
– Competent in FMS and SIMS (or other similar management systems).
– Excellent IT skills and the ability to develop IT-based MIS.
– Ability to adhere to relevant school policies/codes of practice/legislation.
– Knowledge of GDPR and Health and Safety.
