British Young Pilots are seeking an experienced aviator with excellent communication skills to lead the flying club at Bromsgrove School. Set within 100 acres of beautiful grounds in Worcestershire, Bromsgrove School is a co-educational boarding and day school, renowned for its academic excellence and outstanding facilities.
Your role will be to inspire a generation of future aviators, building self-esteem and confidence through flying. You will follow the BYP syllabus and teach practical flying skills on a flight simulator. Students fly a real aircraft with BYP half termly at a local airfield.
This can be a flying or non-flying role so we welcome applications from diverse backgrounds - you do not need to be a qualified flying instructor. The current commitment is 2 hours per week on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. You will receive full training, support & detailed weekly lesson plans to work from and will be compensated £75 per hour and liberal use of the BYP aircraft (C42).
