We are seeking a highly organised and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic Brand New State of The Art Private dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
* Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
* Deal with New Leads and booking them in for Consultations.
* Manage a Client's Journey from Start to Finish, providing a 5* experience and service.
* Manage patient records accurately, including updating personal information and treatment histories.
* Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
* Process payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
* Assist in managing inventory of office supplies and dental materials as needed.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
* Proficient in using office software and dental practice management systems.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail is essential for managing patient records accurately.
* A friendly disposition with a genuine interest in helping others is highly valued.
