Mental Health Support Worker Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with mental health needs. Assist students in managing their emotions and developing social skills. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and mental health professionals. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Support students with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Help implement strategies that promote emotional resilience and well-being. Mental Health Support Worker Requirements: Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges as a Mental Health Support Worker is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications in psychology, mental health, or counselling are advantageous. A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
