Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
I'm currently hiring on behalf of my Leeds based client, a dynamic organization looking for a new member of their HR team! This role is critical for providing operational HR expertise, focusing on employee relations and driving compliance, efficiency and strategic alignment with the business's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage ER cases (grievances, disciplinaries, absences) and mitigate tribunal risks.
2. Develop case tracking/reporting and liaise with insurers.
3. Coach managers and lead on TUPE, consultations and tribunal cases.
4. Mentor HR team members and act as Deputy for the Head of HR as needed.
5. Provide policy-aligned guidance, working with Employment Law Partners.
6. Deliver timely HR data, identify trends, ensure GDPR compliance and keep policies updated.
Experience:
1. Strong ER experience, including performance and case management.
2. Proven expertise in leading TUPE processes, consultations, ACAS claims, employment tribunals and trade union negotiations.
3. Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
4. Demonstrated experience in team management and process optimization.
5. CIPD Qualification/Working towards OR equivalent experience.
